Entry is free, as are the guided tours, which can also be conducted in English if required. Interested parties should meet in the Museum lobby.
Guided tours for adults
Guided tours providing a “Tour through the history of money” are conducted on a regular basis at 11.00 on Sundays.

Guided tours for children (aged 6 to 12) take place at 15.00.

We have designed the following special events for children under 12.
A general guided tour through the museum and the history of money. Children are introduced to the individual exhibits in a targeted manner.
This guided tour shows how animals were often used as means of payment in olden times. Here you will see many examples of animal motifs on coins and banknotes, mostly as a symbol of the issuing state or country.
