This page provides you with information on the structure of our website.
All pages are basically divided into the following areas: Header and main navigation, content and highlight. The jump marks “To Navigation” and o Content” will take you directly to these areas. In addition, all pages contain the navigation aid “You are here” to help you find your way around. In the navigation area, your current position is highlighted with the additional label “current position”. The linear reading order is maintained even if the style sheets are turned off.
The pages have been designed to be independent of the input and output devices being used and to be largely independent of the operating system and browser used. Moreover, our web pages contain no pop-up windows or advertisements whatsoever. All pages and texts are marked and labelled, wherever possible, according to their document languages, any language changes, acronyms and abbreviations. Please notify us if any terms are missing.
The Money Museum’s pages are completely barrier-free. They meet the requirements of the Barrier-free Information Technology Regulation and the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines as far as this can be determined using automated testing software. Moreover, continuous manual quality assurance is conducted. However, please let us know if any departures from this occur during general maintenance.
The Money Museum will be closed on 29 August 2010 because of the "Museumsuferfest".
