The numismatic library is open to the general public for background information and further research on numismatics and monetary history.
It comprises around 10,000 volumes, a comprehensive collection of reprints from periodicals and anthologies, press clippings and leaflets, as well as auction catalogues and 27 periodicals on permanent subscription.
Literature published from 1999 (including an increasing number of older publications) is searchable in the online catalogue. Publications prior to 1999 may be found in the library’s alphabetical and systematic card catalogue.
Borrowing is not permitted but workstations are available for interested readers. To make an appointment for your visit, please contact
